Hungarian businesswoman favours Trump

While the Republican presidential nominee is having a rough time because of his latest controversial statements, a leading liberal website publishes a eulogy for him from a Hungarian-American businesswoman.

On Index, Ildikó Varga, who runs an international crystal glass company and owns several glass shops in Budapest says Trump is mistakenly depicted as a woman-hater. Mrs Varga, who is based in Florida, knows Trump personally and has organised a network of women’s organisations to back Trump’s candidacy. She tells Index that Trump is always kind to women, appoints more women than men to leading posts in his company and gives women equal pay. When he lambasted women during the campaign, she explains, Mr Trump targeted individuals not women in general.
