Right-wing takes on the London attacks

Two pro-government columnists link terrorist attacks to immigration and multiculturalist ideology.

Eastern Europe does not want to import terrorism, Zoltán Kottász writes in Magyar Idők. The pro-government commentator contends that former colonial powers in western Europe are open to immigration and multicultural values while the eastern part of the EU is not. Kottász thinks that it should be the business of all EU member states to define their immigration policy – but they should bear responsibility for all the implications of it.

In Magyar Hírlap, Mariann Őry comments that terrorism has become part of normal life in western Europe. The pro-government columnist believes that Europe at war with terrorist organizations. She suggests that terrorists acts cannot be prevented unless mass migration is stopped.

Left-wing and liberal media outlets have not yet published opinion pieces on the London attacks.
